Setup takes less than a minute
Choose the number of players, pick how many spies are in the round, set a timer if you want pressure, then pass one phone around. Each player privately sees either the location or the spy role.
Ask questions that sound normal
The best questions are specific enough to reveal knowledge, but not so obvious that they give the location away. Ask about sounds, smells, prices, opening hours, clothes, or what people would do there.
Vote or let the spy guess
After discussion, the group votes for the most suspicious player. If the group finds the spy, civilians win. If the wrong player is accused or the spy guesses the location, the spy side wins.
Quick tips
- Use short rounds for new players.
- Do not reveal the location in the first question.
- Let quiet players ask questions too.
- Replay immediately with a new location.
